Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our healthcare team. This role is essential in providing high-quality care to patients in critical situations. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary qualifications and certifications to excel in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room.
• Assess and triage patient conditions effectively.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensure a safe and sterile environment for patients and staff.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and patient needs.

Qualifications

• Current Virginia or compact nursing license is required.
• Emergency Room experience preferred.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS are required.
• Proficient in using EPIC electronic health records.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.

Shift Information

This position requires night shifts, with a schedule of 3 twelve-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00.
