Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Summary

The Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for delivering skilled therapy to patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders. This role includes conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions to improve patient communication and swallowing functions in compliance with state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and treatments for patients with various speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
  • Document all services in accordance with regulatory requirements and facility standards.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams, patients, and their families to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain adherence to all infection control and safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program (MS/MA).
  • Current state SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
  • Strong communication skills and clinical problem-solving abilities.
