Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (MS Tele RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for night shifts. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in a telemetry unit, working within a defined nurse-to-patient ratio.

Shift Details

• Shift Type: Nights
• Schedule: 3×12 hour shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating within scope may be required to meet facility needs

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a telemetry environment.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and dysrhythmias.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and medications.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing.
• Must possess a valid SC or Compact nursing license prior to the start date.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias is essential.
• Community hospital experience is preferred.

• Local candidates within a 60-mile radius are accepted.
• All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission and will be approved based on facility needs.
• Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June through November), assignments may be affected.
