Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position involves working a rotating schedule of 12-hour shifts, including day and night shifts, with every other weekend off. If scheduled during the winter holidays, two holidays will be required during that period.

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be expected to:

• Provide high-quality patient care in both Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) settings.
• Float between ICU and IMCU as needed to ensure adequate staffing and patient care.
• Utilize advanced medical devices such as Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) and Impella as part of patient management and treatment plans.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a similar clinical setting.
• Previous experience in Cardiothoracic (CT) surgery is mandatory.
• Current certifications in Epic, Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA, and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from AHA.
• Candidates must be separated from previous employment with the organization for at least 6 months to be eligible for rehire.

Additional Information

Orientation for new hires is conducted on a weekly basis, and all staff are permitted to wear scrubs in any color.
