Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. This position involves working three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend, and may require assistance during holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic treatment therapy, including administration of aerosolized medication via oral inhalation, EZPAP, IPPB, and MDI.
• Provide chest physical therapy (CPT) and incentive spirometry.
• Administer oxygen therapy and manage CPAP/BiPAP therapy.
• Conduct arteriocentesis as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy is required; travel experience preferred.
• Candidates must possess a current BLS and ACLS certification.
• A valid license to practice in the state of TN is required at the time of submission.
• Epic experience within the last 18 months is required, and must be detailed in the applicant profile.

Orientation

Note that an additional 10 hours of unbillable orientation will be added to the contract if the traveler fails the Epic test out.

Shift Information

This position is for the night shift, working three 12-hour days from 18:45 to 07:15.
