Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatrics

Join our dedicated team in providing exceptional care in a pediatric setting. We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a focus on pediatrics and oncology to support our diverse patient population.

Job Details:

• Target Ratios: 1:5-6
• Shift: 36 hours can be offered
• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts from 06:45 to 19:15
• RTO: Maximum of 7 days for Aya Auto Offer
• Call Requirement: None
• Float Requirement: Yes, float to PICU and NICU
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Unit Orientation: 24 hours
• Hospital Orientation: Week one, with daily classes

Patient Population:

Caring for ages 0-17 with medical surgical patients and hematology/oncology needs.

Required Skills and Certifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• Traveler experience accepted for first-time travelers with two years of relevant experience
• Required skills: Administer chemotherapy
• Certifications: BCLS and PALS

Preferred Skills and Certifications:

• IV Start and Lab Draw experience
• CHEMO experience and certification preferred

Unit Systems:

• PYXIS
• EPIC
• SBAR
