Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide skilled therapy services in compliance with state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating patients, creating treatment and discharge plans, and delivering therapy aimed at enhancing patient independence in daily living skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients based on physician orders and referrals.
• Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Document services provided accurately and in a timely manner.
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in alignment with practice acts and facility policies.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams and family members.
• Adhere to all safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT or OTD).
• Possession of an active state Occupational Therapy license or the ability to obtain one.
• Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills.
