Operating Room (OR) Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a certified Surgical Technician to join our Operating Room team. This role requires experience in various surgical specialties and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Schedule

• Monday to Friday: 11 AM – 7:30 PM
• On-call weekend coverage on a rotational basis

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room and surgical instruments.
• Support surgeons and surgical teams during various procedures.
• Ensure a sterile environment and adherence to safety protocols.
• Participate in patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified Surgical Technician with valid certification to practice in New Jersey.
• Experience in the following specialties is required:
• Eye surgery (Cataracts, Vitrectomy, Scleral Buckle)
• Bariatric surgery
• Pain management
• General surgery
• Urology
• Orthopedic surgery (Arthroscopy)
• Podiatry

Certifications

Required certifications include DCI/BVP.
