Registered Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Mother-Baby unit. This role involves providing exceptional care in both postpartum and antepartum settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to postpartum and antepartum patients, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Float within skill set, including NICU, to care for Level II nursery patients as needed.
• Participate in clinical reviews and assist in care planning as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Schedule

This position requires a rotating day and night schedule every six weeks. Nurses will work 36 hours per week, including every other weekend and every other holiday. Shifts include:

• Day Shift: 3×12-Hour (07:00 – 19:30)
• Night Shift: 3×12-Hour (19:00 – 07:30)

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure, with the ability to submit with a pending Virginia license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required.
• Proficiency in using Epic electronic health record system.
• Must be willing to float within skill set as needed.
