Job Overview

Join our team as a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA), specializing in Long Term Care. This position plays a vital role in delivering basic nursing and restorative care while adhering to established policies and procedures, under the supervision of LPNs and RNs.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver basic nursing and restorative care while keeping licensed personnel informed of significant observations in resident care.
• Assist residents with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing, while following designated skin care treatments per the Resident Care Plan.
• Support residents in ambulation and movement, including range of motion exercises, turning, positioning, and transferring.
• Provide assistance with nutrition and bodily functions, including feeding, hydration, toileting, and bowel/bladder training.
• Maintain a safe environment for residents and staff, responding appropriately to emergency situations, and ensuring resident safety at all times.
• Understand and comply with Resident Care Plans to provide necessary nursing care, while maintaining confidentiality and privacy.
• Utilize infection control techniques consistently and respect residents’ spiritual beliefs, encouraging participation in their own care.

Schedule and Availability

This position operates on a 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. shift, with the expectation of availability for any shift as needed. A commitment of 48 hours per week is guaranteed, with requirements to work every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of current experience as a Licensed Nursing Assistant.
• Willingness to float to different units as needed based on experience.
• Previous travel experience is highly preferred.
• Experience in rural or small facility settings is highly preferred.
• Must possess an active New Hampshire nursing license at the time of submission.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Additional Requirements

Covid Vaccination Series is required for this position. Declinations or exemptions will not be accepted.

Travelers must be willing to work during the Labor Day holiday, including the weekend prior, if scheduled. Requests for time off during this holiday will not be approved.
