Infusion Therapy Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Infusion Therapy Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IV therapy and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in an infusion setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer IV medications and therapies to adult patients.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and manage any complications.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using the Epic EMR system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about infusion therapies and self-care techniques.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year of infusion experience.
• Strong skills in IV access and administration.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position with a rotating day schedule, Monday through Friday, and requires working every 7th weekend.

Patient Care

The RN will manage a patient-to-clinician ratio of 1:3, ensuring attentive and personalized care for each patient.

Additional Information

No floating to other units is required, and there is no need for rotating shifts. Candidates must also be familiar with electronic medical records systems, particularly Epic.
