MS/Tele Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MS/Tele Registered Nurse to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care in a supportive environment, with the ability to float between like units and sister facilities as needed.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 3×12-hour shifts
• Days: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Patient Ratios

• Typical RN to patient ratio: 1:5-6

Role Responsibilities

As a MS/Tele Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for:

• Providing direct nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical and telemetry setting.
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitoring patient progress and responding to changes in condition promptly.
• Documenting care accurately using electronic medical records.
• Floating between like units as necessary to meet facility needs.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry setting.
• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license in hand prior to start.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required; NIH (National Institutes of Health) Stroke Scale certification preferred.
• Tele competency is required; previous charge experience and community hospital experience are preferred.

Additional Information

• No on-call requirement.
• Travelers should be aware that assignments during hurricane season (June through November) may involve emergency response duties.
• Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
