Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to deliver high-quality respiratory therapy and patient care in accordance with physician orders, hospital policies, and departmental standards of care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform therapeutic and diagnostic pulmonary and cardiovascular procedures.
• Evaluate patient responses to respiratory therapy and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Educate patients and staff on respiratory procedures, equipment operation, and safety precautions.
• Conduct routine maintenance and service checks on respiratory equipment.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to the delivery of care.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Required
• Proficient in the use of ventilators, BiPAP, and experience in ICU and ER settings – Required
• ACLS certification – Preferred
• Active State License in Michigan – Required
• BLS certification – Required

Work Schedule:

Guaranteed 36 hours per week with a requirement to work every third weekend.

Additional Requirements:

Availability for on-call shifts may be necessary.
