Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team. This role will involve providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Shift: Night, 4×12 hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Contract Length: 13-20 weeks

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required.
• MUST have a valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state license in hand.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to implement care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and post-discharge care.
