Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team. This position is vital for providing exceptional care to expecting mothers and their newborns during and after the birthing process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor and delivery.
• Monitor maternal and fetal health throughout the labor process.
• Assist with all aspects of patient care in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float to Mother-Baby unit and other areas as qualified.
• Participate in on-call rotations as required.
• Support and educate new parents regarding newborn care.

Qualifications:

• Current C-EFM certification through NCC is required at the time of submission.
• Current BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required; ACLS preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery preferred; 3 years is ideal.
• In-depth knowledge of scrub procedures is advantageous.
• Charge nurse experience is a plus.
• Experience with Cerner electronic health records is preferred.
• Must have completed at least one travel nursing assignment.

Work Schedule:

• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, from 6:50 AM to 7:20 PM.
• On-call duties required – 2 shifts every 6 weeks.
• Every other weekend availability is mandatory.
