CVOR Tech

We are seeking a skilled CVOR Tech to join our dynamic team. This position primarily focuses on cardiovascular/thoracic, transplant, and robotics procedures.

Shift Details

• Weekend: Friday-Sunday
• Shift: Night 3×12-Hour (18:30 – 07:00)

Call Responsibilities

Call requirements will be discussed during the interview process.

Floating Requirements

The CVOR Tech may be required to float within the facility and to the Main OR as necessary, depending on the scope of practice.

Minimum Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred, though first-time travelers are accepted.

Clinical Screening Process

Candidates will undergo a clinical review to determine their clinical fit for the role. If the clinical screening is passed and adheres to the required guidelines, candidates will be forwarded to the manager for a final decision. Clinical screens will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Time Off (RTO)

A maximum of 7 days of time off is permitted during the assignment period.

Holiday Work Expectations

Travelers are expected to work if one or more major holidays fall within their assignment. The expectations are as follows:

• 1 major holiday: expected to work.
• 2 major holidays: expected to work both.
• 3 major holidays: expected to work two out of three.

Major Holidays include:

• Memorial Day
• Independence Day
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving/Black Friday
• Christmas Eve/Christmas Day
• New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day

Compliance Requirements

Full compliance is required to ensure a timely start. Non-compliance may result in a delay of up to two weeks due to our bi-weekly orientation schedule.

Local Candidates

Local candidates are welcome and will receive the same rate as travelers.

Orientation Information

The number of non-billable orientation hours is determined by the length of the contract (for example, 8 hours for an 8-week assignment and 10 hours for a 10-week assignment).
