Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiac Ultrasound Technician to perform high-quality echocardiogram studies in a non-invasive cardiology setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality while working independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct and interpret echocardiogram studies with a focus on quality and accuracy.
• Create detailed reports and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Demonstrate excellent technical skills and sound judgment to effectively function unsupervised.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals through both verbal and written means.
• Exhibit excellent organizational skills and pay attention to detail while managing time efficiently to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited non-invasive cardiovascular training program with a focus in echocardiography.
• Completion of a recognized course in arrhythmia detection.
• A minimum of 2 years of current experience as a registered echocardiography technician.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification required.
• Current CPR certification from AHA or ARC.

Schedule

This position requires availability on Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, with some flexibility for hours. Anticipated work hours are between 16 to 20 hours per week.
