Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)

We are seeking an experienced Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our team specializing in Gynecology and Genitourinary procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in surgical technology, exceptional patient care, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile field and proper instrumentation.
• Demonstrate competence in Robotics (Da Vinci Xi), PCNLs, Nephrectomies, Ureteral Reimplants, Hysterectomies, Cystectomies, Colpocleisis, Hysteroscopies, and Ureteroscopies.
• Provide excellent patient care for a diverse patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics.
• Maintain professionalism and strong collaboration within the surgical team.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) in a Level 1 Trauma setting required.
• Exceptional skills in both general surgery and GU/GYN specialties; knowledge in Ortho trauma, Neuro surgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, and Endovascular procedures is preferred.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) is required.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, preferably Epic.

Unit Information:

• Operating Room with 26 beds and a patient ratio of 1:1.
• Utilizes equipment including Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and Intuitive Robot.

Additional Information:

• Shift: Days, 7 AM – 7 PM.
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36.
• Weekend requirements: 1:4 weekends, 12-hour shifts.
• Personality Fit: Flexible, accountable, timely, and a team player.
• Dress Code: Teal scrubs issued from the organization.
