Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position involves providing high-quality care to patients in a telemetry unit.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients’ vital signs and telemetry data.
• Implement and evaluate patient care plans collaboratively with healthcare team members.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and care plans.
• Execute patient admissions, discharges, and transfers efficiently.
• Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required.
• Valid Registered Nurse license in Ohio or a compact state.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

This position is for the night shift, consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Contract Options

This role offers a contract option of 13-20 weeks.
