Position Overview
The Registered Nurse (RN) position offers a contract with guaranteed hours of 72 hours biweekly across all assignments. Please note that the guaranteed hours do not include any additional time worked beyond scheduled hours.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor and evaluate patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to protocols.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and families.
Qualifications
- Current nursing license in a compact state or a participating state.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
- Completion of at least one travel assignment is required.
- Epic experience is essential.
- Must possess Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications from AHA.
Work Schedule
The position typically operates on night shifts, with the possibility of being requested to work up to 48 hours per week as needed.
Additional Information
All nurses are required to wear any color of scrubs while performing their duties.
