Emergency Department Staff (RN)

Job Overview

The Emergency Department Staff RN is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. This role involves working with patients of various ages and backgrounds, delivering prompt and efficient medical assistance.

Schedule

• Rotating Day/Night shifts (4 weeks of each consecutively) or Straight Night shifts
• 3 shifts per 12-hour week (EOW & EOH required)

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients in the emergency department.
• Prioritize patient care based on severity of conditions and triage effectively.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain compliance with clinical procedures and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Current RN License required.
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
• Demonstrated ability to work in a high-stress environment and handle multiple priorities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
