CVICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Join our dedicated team as a CVICU Registered Nurse, where you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a critical cardiac surgery environment. We are seeking experienced professionals who thrive in a fast-paced and challenging setting.

Shift Details

• 3×12 Hour Night Shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Must work at least every other holiday

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).
• Monitor patient vital signs and manage critical care needs.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Utilize advanced assessment skills to identify and address patients’ needs.
• Perform ECG rhythm recognition and safe medication practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in CVICU or a related specialty.
• Valid Ohio nursing license or compact state license required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications from AHA or American Red Cross.
• Successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
