Imaging Support IR Technologist

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Imaging Support IR Technologist to provide essential support in the operating room, specifically working within vascular interventional radiology. This position involves active engagement throughout the entire case workflow and requires a strong background in vascular and interventional radiology procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage inventory and order cases in EPIC prior to procedures.
• Operate equipment and run tables during various procedures.
• Perform 3D spins and utilize fusion technology effectively.
• Engage actively in the operating room throughout procedures, including documenting and processing images.
• Use HI-IQ for documenting and managing inventory utilized during cases.
• Collaborate closely with vascular surgeons, OR team members, and the procedural team.
• Support simple surgical cases alongside X-ray staff during downtime using a C-arm, including procedures such as Impella.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• ARRT certification required.
• Active Virginia state license required; can submit an application with the license pending. Temporary licensure eligible with licensure in another state, if applicable.
• Strong experience in vascular interventional radiology and familiarity with Hybrid OR procedures.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently within a dynamic team environment.

Work Schedule

The position involves 8-hour shifts from 07:30 to 16:00, with rotating on-call duties every fourth week.

Additional Information

Candidates must be located within a 50-mile radius for consideration. This role is a 13-week contract position.
