Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. This position involves providing high-quality respiratory care and support to patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in a variety of settings and be committed to delivering excellent patient care.

Job Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments in accordance with physician orders.
• Evaluate patients’ respiratory condition and monitor their progress.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory health and therapies.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards.

Shift Details

This is a full-time position requiring 12-hour night shifts with a commitment of 36 hours per week. Weekend shifts will be required every other week. There is no on-call requirement for this position.

Attendance Policy

It is important to note that the organization has implemented a strict attendance policy. Any absence from a scheduled shift or tardiness exceeding 20 minutes on three occasions will result in immediate termination. Exceptions, such as documented medical emergencies, will be considered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Travel experience is preferred.
• Current certifications: NRP, BLS (AHA), and ACLS (AHA).
• Active Michigan state license at the time of application.
