Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel position. This role includes a 4×10 or 4×12 day/night rotational schedule with weekend and call requirements. Candidates must have Level I trauma experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the operating room setting.
• Collaborate effectively with surgical and medical teams.
• Develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to any changes in patient status.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining a sterile environment.

Shifts Available

The selected candidate will have the following shift options:

• 4×10 Day Shifts: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday); 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM (Wednesday)
• 4×12 Day Shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday); 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM (Wednesday)
• 4×10 Night Shifts: 7:00 PM – 5:30 AM (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday); 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Wednesday)
• 4×12 Night Shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday); 9:00 PM – 9:30 AM (Wednesday)

Weekend and Call Requirements

Candidates scheduled to work on weekends will be assigned 12-hour shifts. During the same week, they may also be assigned 8 or 10-hour shifts to meet contracted weekly hours.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license.
• Experience in Level I trauma settings.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Start Date

The anticipated start date for this position is September 14 or September 28.
