Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team. This position involves providing care on a dedicated telemetry unit with a focus on patient-centered outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical-surgical telemetry nursing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage patients with various medical conditions and surgical recoveries.
• Utilize telemetry equipment to observe patients’ vital signs and respond to changes in their condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required.
• Active Ohio nursing license or compact state license in hand.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.

Work Schedule:

This position requires working the night shift, consisting of three 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Specific scheduling may vary based on unit needs.
