Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Telemetry

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) specializing in Med/Surg Telemetry to join our team. The qualified candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction.

Shift Schedule

• Night shift: 3 shifts of 12 hours, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with diverse medical and surgical needs.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatments.
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with staff and physicians.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required.
• MUST possess a valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state license.
• AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.

Unit Information

The position is located on the 4 Main Neuro unit, where you will work with patients experiencing various neurosurgical and telemetry-related conditions.
