Registered Dietitian (RD)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian (RD) to join our specialized behavioral health Day Treatment program. This program serves a diverse population, including adolescents, adults, seniors, and postpartum patients, focusing on various behavioral health needs.

Patient Diagnoses

The Day Treatment program addresses a range of conditions, including:

• Eating disorders (Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID), and Other Specified Feeding or Eating Disorders (OSFED))
• Mood disorders
• Depression
• Anxiety disorders
• Bipolar disorder
• Trauma-related disorders
• Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
• Substance use disorders
• Co-occurring mental health and substance use conditions

Role Responsibilities

The Registered Dietitian will be responsible for the following:

• Conducting nutrition assessments for patients
• Participating in individualized treatment planning
• Providing meal support to patients
• Delivering nutrition education to patients and their families
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary treatment team, including physicians, therapists, and nursing staff

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A valid Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential
• At least 2 years of experience in the behavioral health field
