Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess clinical expertise and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a surgical environment.

Shift Information

• 8-hour shifts, afternoon schedule
• Full-time position with a weekly commitment of 40 hours
• Weekend and holiday work may be required as needed

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the overall patient care process in the operating room.
• Provide preoperative and postoperative care to patients.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
• Perform both circulating and scrubbing duties as required.

Qualifications

• Current active Massachusetts RN license is required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the Operating Room.
• Experience in both scrubbing and circulating roles is mandatory.
• CNOR certification is preferred.
• Experience with Meditech Expanse is highly preferred.
• Candidates must supply their own vehicle for transportation related to job duties.

Certification Requirements

• Active ACLS certification.
• Active BLS certification.

Additional Information

Orientation will require 8 hours of non-billable training. All scheduling requests and time off requests must be finalized at the time of submission. Late requests will not be accepted. Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered for this position.
