Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our dedicated healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care in a Med/Surg telemetry unit.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, vital signs, and telemetry readings.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care and updates accurately in electronic health records.
• Educate patients and families on health management and care plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience.
• Active, unrestricted nursing license in Ohio or a compact state.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Shift Details

This position requires a night shift schedule, consisting of three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
