Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

This position is primarily responsible for functioning as a clinic RN, ensuring efficient clinic flow for both patients and providers. The role involves providing nursing coverage in a clinic setting, assisting healthcare providers with patient examinations, phone calls, treatments, and procedures as directed, adhering to the scope of the professional nursing license.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Graduation from an accredited RN program or LPN/CMA (Certified Medical Assistant).
• Current nursing license in the state of Iowa.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an acute or ambulatory care setting is preferred.
• Strong nursing process skills and a commitment to patient service.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Code BLS certification required; new employees must obtain certification within three months of hiring.
• A positive, enthusiastic disposition with a helpful and engaging personality.
• Organized, capable of setting priorities, and able to work effectively under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Experience as a collaborative team member.
• Ability to think, communicate, and type simultaneously, utilizing excellent telephone communication skills and customer-focused interpersonal relationship skills.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Windows Operating Systems.
