Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide support in delivering therapeutic services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. This role involves assisting patients in developing and restoring their functional independence in alignment with state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Implement therapy interventions in accordance with the Occupational Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress in an accurate and timely manner.
• Assist with patient and family education to enhance understanding and compliance.
• Communicate patient status effectively to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active state COTA license or ability to obtain licensure.
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills.
