Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. This position is primarily focused on providing high-quality respiratory care to patients in a critical care setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and interventions based on established protocols.
• Conduct diagnostic procedures and evaluations to assess patient respiratory function.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory health and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Experience in a critical care environment is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Compliance with certification and continuing education requirements.

Work Schedule

This position will require night shifts, consisting of three 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00. Additional scheduling details will be discussed during the interview.

Other Requirements

This position requires compliance with epic requisitions and call requirements, which will be further elaborated on during the interview process.
