Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. This position is crucial for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure the highest standards of care.
• Perform triage and prioritize patient care based on severity and urgency.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document all patient interactions and care provided accurately and timely.

Shift Details

This position requires a night shift schedule consisting of three 12-hour shifts each week (19:00 – 07:00).

Weekend and Holiday Requirements

• Every other weekend is required.
• Travelers are expected to work major holidays if they fall within their assignment period. Specific requirements include:
• Work one major holiday if only one falls within the assignment.
• Work both holidays if two major holidays are within the assignment.
• Work two holidays if three major holidays occur during the assignment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in an Emergency Department setting.
• The unit accepts first-time travelers.
• Full compliance with all requirements is necessary to start on time.

This role may include floating within the facility/scope of practice as needed.
