Minimum Experience Requirement

3 years of experience as a Clinical Pharmacist

Certifications/Requirements

• General Certifications (BLS/BCLS)
• Must have a current valid and unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in a State or Territory of the United States, or the District of Columbia
• Must maintain current valid certification of Basic Life Support (BLS) throughout employment

Position Overview

This position provides comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services. The Pharmacist will ensure a consistent level of service in accordance with established policies. Direct patient care and services will be provided for neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, and obstetric patients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive pharmacy services including medication management and patient education.
• Participate in patient care rounds and collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize pharmaceutical care.
• Supervise pharmacy staff including Advanced Practice Pharmacists, Staff Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Pharmacy Assistants, and Pharmacy Billers.
• Maintain and implement policies and procedures in alignment with organizational mission and values.
• Provide clinical pharmacy services and manage specialized pharmacy-based clinics.
• Engage in ongoing analysis and development of clinical services to enhance patient care quality.

The position offers opportunities for career advancement through tier levels of Pharmacist to Advanced Practice Pharmacist based on experience. Advanced Practice Pharmacists are responsible for providing direct clinical services and overseeing specialized clinics.
