Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will have a mix of telemetry and progressive care unit (PCU) experience and the ability to effectively manage patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse group of patients.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions continuously.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about disease management and health maintenance.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of nursing experience in a telemetry or PCU setting.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Active nursing license in Pennsylvania is required.

Work Schedule

This position offers night shifts, working four 12-hour shifts per week, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Patient Ratios

Patient nurse ratios will be a minimum of 5 to 6 patients per nurse.
