X-Ray Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist to join our dynamic radiology team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in performing diagnostic imaging procedures and ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray examinations and maintain quality control of images.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols while operating imaging equipment.
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, providing clear instructions and assistance as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to optimize diagnostic procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and technical documentation.
• Participate in ongoing education to stay current with advances in radiology technology and best practices.

Qualifications

• Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Valid driver’s license with picture identification.
• Completion of a background check and drug test.
• Comprehensive skill checklist from an agency, including records of nursing-related competencies and exams.
• Resume and application demonstrating relevant experience and qualifications.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Up-to-date tuberculosis test records and hepatitis vaccine record.
• Influenza vaccine record or documented declination.
• Copy of agency’s certificate of liability insurance.
