Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. This role requires experience and a commitment to providing high-quality respiratory care to patients. The successful candidate will work 12-hour day shifts and be expected to fulfill weekend requirements on an every-other-week basis.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as prescribed.
• Monitor, assess, and document patient progress and response to treatment.
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory health and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is required.
• Experience in travel assignments is preferred.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP are required.
• Active state license in Michigan at the time of submission is required.

Additional Information

This position may require participation in an on-call rotation. A strict attendance policy is in effect; excessive absences or tardiness will lead to immediate termination after three occurrences, barring valid medical documentation.
