Sterile Processing Tech

We are seeking a dedicated Sterile Processing Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess the essential skills and experience necessary to maintain high standards of aseptic technique and instrument management within a sterile environment.

Shift Information

• Schedule: 5×8 Night Shift (23:00 – 07:30)
• On-call requirements: Once per month and 24-hour holiday call, with every other weekend and holiday rotation as needed.

Qualifications

• Certification Required: CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sterile processing.
• Must be a certified SPD Tech.
• Completion of at least one travel assignment is required.

Required Skills

• Proficient in decontamination and disinfection processes.
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques.
• Experience with case cart organization.
• Capable of placing instruments on trays and maintaining preference cards.
• Proper selection of wrapping materials and sterilization wrapping procedures.
• Documentation of equipment handling.
• Familiarity with Sterile Processing Microsystem (SPM).

Additional Information

Scrubs will be provided for the position. Please note that all employees are required to have the flu vaccine.
