Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

As a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to adult patients with various post-surgical conditions, including but not limited to:

• Abdominal pain
• Cholelithiasis
• Osteoarthritis
• Fractures
• Back pain
• Morbid obesity (bariatric surgery)

You will be responsible for monitoring patient vital signs, administering medications, and providing support during recovery. Familiarity with specialty equipment such as IV pumps, N/G tubes, and feeding tubes is essential.

Shift and Scheduling

This position requires a commitment to night shifts (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM). Please note that block scheduling is not guaranteed, and floating to other units may be necessary based on patient care needs.

Qualifications

• Up-to-date resume documenting a minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical nursing and travel experience.
• Active RN license in New York and any other active licenses verified through the NURSYS report.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Valid driver’s license with an address matching submitted demographics.
