Respiratory Care Practitioner

Job Summary

The Respiratory Care Practitioner DME is responsible for conducting basic equipment-related patient assessments and coordinating the setup of necessary respiratory equipment. The role requires a level of expertise in respiratory care to ensure optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient assessments related to respiratory care.
• Coordinate setup and integration of respiratory equipment for patient use.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety protocols during equipment setup.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care and treatment plans.
• Educate patients and caregivers on the use and maintenance of respiratory equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in respiratory care preferred.
• Current MD License and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with patients and healthcare staff.

Work Schedule

Day shift consisting of five 8-hour shifts, from 08:00 to 16:30. No block schedules available.

This position is suitable for first-time travelers. Local candidates will not be considered.
