MS/Tele Float Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MS/Tele Float Registered Nurse to join our team. This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients on medical-surgical and telemetry units. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical nursing practices and the ability to adapt to various patient care needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care with a focus on medical-surgical and telemetry needs.
• Float between units as required, maintaining competencies within skillset and acuity levels.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and best practices in patient care.
• Participate in patient education and support for patients and their families.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 travel assignment completed.
• Must pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with an overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
• Willingness to work every other weekend and holidays as needed.
• All employees must have the Flu vaccine.

Schedule

This position offers a night shift schedule, with either 3×12 or 4×12 hour options available. Block scheduling is not available.
