Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide quality therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. The ideal candidate will assist patients in developing and restoring functional independence following established state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy interventions as outlined in the Occupational Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist with patient and family education regarding therapy processes and goals.
• Communicate patient’s status and progress to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols within the facility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active state COTA license or the ability to obtain one.
• Demonstrated strong teamwork and patient care skills.
