Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department

Position Overview

The Emergency Department is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The RN will play a vital role in delivering high-quality emergency care to a diverse patient population, ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics.

Unit Profile

• Trauma Level: Level 2
• Patient Ratios: 1:4
• Number of Critical Care Bays: 4
• Technology & Equipment: US, bladder scanner, neuro tele computer, Care Aware handheld devices
• EHR Systems: Omnicell, EPIC, SBAR

Position Details

• Shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Requirements: No guaranteed weekends off; efforts will be made for a balanced schedule
• Call Requirements: None

Qualifications

• Required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS/BLS, PALS, NIH, TNCC (required), CPI (preferred)
• Years of Experience: 2 years in a non-trauma Emergency Department
• Required Skills: Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, care for ventilated patients, triage experience
• Patient Population: Varied, including pediatrics and geriatrics
