Pediatric Psychiatry Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Psychiatry Registered Nurse (RN) for our inpatient program focused on providing comprehensive care to children and adolescents aged 3 to 17 years. The successful candidate will join a nurturing and supportive environment where patients receive 24-hour care through our child and adolescent services program.

Unit Overview

• Unit Name: Pediatric Psychiatry
• Patient Population: Children ages 4-18
• Bed Count: 30
• Census: 20-25 patients
• Clinician to Patient Ratio: 1 RN to 3 Patients
• Charting System: EPIC

Position Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience at one location or hospital.
• Skill Sets Required:
  • Trauma-informed care
  • Patient-centered approach
  • Effective verbal de-escalation skills
• Floating: Required to other behavioral health areas within the unit.
• Shifts: Rotating shifts may be required for day positions; not required for night positions.
• Certifications: Active Massachusetts RN License and BLS certification required.

Work Schedule

This position is for night shifts on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with a commitment to every other weekend, totaling 36 hours per week.
