Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency

We are seeking qualified Registered Nurses to join our Emergency Room team. Offering flexible scheduling options including 36 or 48-hour shifts, with day/mid or rotating schedules based on candidate preference. Shared housing is provided at no cost.

Unit Description

The Emergency Room serves a diverse island community, providing comprehensive medical care to both a year-round population and seasonal visitors. Our dedicated team of over 300 staff members is committed to delivering high-quality health and wellness services in a safe and compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts RN License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification

Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room, you will be responsible for:

• Assessing and triaging patients during emergency situations.
• Providing high-quality medical care in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and effective treatment.
• Documenting patient care and maintaining accurate medical records.
• Educating patients and families on health management and treatment plans.
