Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a night shift position. This role requires a professional who is capable of handling multi and complex diagnoses in a fast-paced and high-volume emergency department.

Key Details

• Shift: 3×12 or 4×12 Nights, 1900 – 0730
• Contract Length: 14 weeks
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holidays: Required as scheduled
• Floating: Required within skillset

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
• Effectively managing a patient ratio of 1:4, with the possibility of up to 5 patients in lower acuity situations.
• Collaborating with medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilizing strong assessment and clinical skills to address the needs of patients with complex medical conditions.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency department setting.
• First-time travelers are welcome, provided they have strong emergency department experience and skills.
• Hold current certifications in ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, and PALS.
