Surgical Technologist – Tier 5 GYN/GU/Transplant

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist with a minimum of two years of scrub experience in a relevant surgical setting. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary skills to provide exceptional support within the operating room, specifically in Gynecology, Urology, and Transplant surgeries.

Schedule

• Shifts: 12-hour shifts from 06:40 AM to 07:10 PM, Monday to Friday with variations.
• Potential to work 10:40 AM to 11:10 PM once per week.
• Weekday and weekend call requirements may apply.
• Orientation is two weeks, consisting of five 8-hour shifts from 06:40 AM to 03:10 PM.
• Manager will consider 4×12 hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of the operating room, ensuring equipment and instruments are sterile and ready for surgical procedures.
• Support surgical teams during procedures by providing necessary tools and anticipating the needs of the surgical staff.
• Maintain a sterile field and uphold safety standards throughout the surgery.
• Collaborate with nursing and surgical teams to ensure seamless transitions pre- and post-operative procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of scrub experience in a surgical setting required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Completion of an accredited surgical technologist program is preferred; however, two years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of program completion.
