Registered Nurse (RN)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department Border team. This position involves providing care to border patients in the Emergency Department or Acute Surgical Unit area, with responsibilities extending to Medical-Surgical/Telemetry units as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care in the Emergency Department, focusing on border patients.
• Float to Medical-Surgical/Telemetry units as needed.
• Participate in ongoing assessments and monitoring of patient conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease management.

Qualifications

• Current licenses and certifications: ACLS & BLS required.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including at least one travel assignment.
• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms.
• Experience with MS/Tele preferred and Cerner experience is a plus.

Schedule

This is a 3×12 hour NIGHT shift position, with no weekend or holiday shifts required.
