Labor and Delivery Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our dynamic team. Our facility is recognized as a trusted leader in maternity care, supporting approximately 2,600 births each year. We are proud to maintain a lower than average cesarean section rate, demonstrating our commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to mothers during labor and delivery.
• Monitor patient conditions and manage significant changes in health status.
• Educate patients and families on health management before, during, and after childbirth.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist in the implementation of care plans based on evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

• Valid Massachusetts nursing license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience with electronic health records, particularly Epic.
• Travel nursing experience is a plus.
• Please note, candidates must have been separated from our organization for 6 months or longer to be considered.

Schedule

This position requires 12-hour rotating shifts, including every other weekend.
